WAR BUNNIES is a bicoastal New Orleans and NYC-based alt-rock power trio. Singer and bassist, Sabrina Stone, is a music journalist by day (ANTIGRAVITY, Where Y’At, 64 Parishes, The New Orleans Arts Rag); split-rig lead guitarist Aaron Younce builds custom instruments and repairs road-worn ones (at his shop, Strange Guitarworks); and drummer Lex Condes reigns behind the kit, while quietly playing several other instruments and fronting his own band (Rare Seed), as the lead singer and rhythm section.
The Bunnies’ just released their cover of Soundgarden’s “The Day I Tried To Live” in June ’26 and their most recent original single, “Didn’t Do it to You” dropped on all platforms at the end of ’25. In 2024 they released the singles, “What You Wanted,” “Space for You,” “Ready for a Fight,” and the inaugural EP What You Wanted. 2025 opened with a headlining show at Bowery Electric in NYC, followed by a dozen other shows around the US. 2026 saw another slew of shows, several fundraisers, an interview and live performance on Tulane University’s WTUL and a feature in ANTIGRAVITY MAGAZINE.
